VIP Real Estate was founded by broker/owner Hank Picciurro in 1965. The company is an independently owned and operated real estate organization, and it's familiar logo of Staten Island with the letters "VIP" inscribed within have been seen by many thousands in the the real estate industry in Staten Island throughout the years. We provide both residential and commercial services. (see some commercial clients)

It was not always that way. Many years ago VIP Real Estate was one of the first franchise companies on Staten Island. Known as "Better Homes and Gardens in the 70's and 80'" we had five real estate locations and over 150 agents working with us. We also provided pre-licensing classes to countless new agents which was permitted for Brokers at that time, and trained countless Realtors that have who have gone on to open their own agencies.

Later, the company returned to it's original business plan which was to operate as an independent real estate company. After our franchising years, we knew it was time to again become an independent brokerage that was NOT bound to franchise restrictions, heavy contributions and other fees that accompany it.

However, the experience provided us with additional knowledge that is important to a real estate operation. Structure, training and supervision and support. Using this approach, we have continued to provide the finest service, and with our range of real estate services such as it's residential department, it's Commercial and Business Investment and Land Division has been and will be a partner in Staten Island's growth and it's incredible future.

Our residential/commercial sales teams have SOLD some of Staten Island's largest projects. Recently
selling nearly 1000 town homes in Aspen Knoll's in Arden Height's, originally we sold the land underneath them, and manned a sales team for over six years to sell all phases of the community. We continued to sell many hundreds of resale townhomes in Aspen Knolls also.


From the very beginning, VIP Real Estate has been there.

In our 45 years, we have seen Staten Island grow along the way into a major influence in New York City. With it's contribution of many many thousands of people that make up New York city's workforce, Staten Island has contributed to the vitality and strength that is
Staten Island and New York City.

Our Commercial Department has brought about the selling and leasing of many of the Island's biggest shopping centers. Including major supermarkets, drug chains and restaurants. We are proud that many Fortune 500 companies have used the services of our company.

Our commercial accomplishments are just too much to list, but some of out successes include some of Staten Island's largest shopping centers, office buildings and major restaurant chains. Some are Shop-rite, Blockbuster, UA Theaters, the US Postal Service, the Social Security Administration and the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicles.
